Home Delivery: Every Wednesday and or Sunday 1:00pm-9pm
We offer home delivery to all zip codes within San Diego county only. Delivery fees are based on distance from our commercial kitchen, 92115. There is an additional fee for Split delivery option for Sunday and Wednesday delivery. To find out your delivery charge for your zip code or see if we deliver to your zip code, go to the shopping cart page after adding at least one item to your cart and under the “Cart Totals” section click on “calculate shipping” in green letters, input your 5 digit zip code in the bottom box click update totals.
There is no need to be home to accept delivery although access to your front door is required. Please provide all details needed for delivery driver to find your front door when placing your order in the delivery notes box including any special instructions that may be required, such as unit/apt number, and gate and door codes if applicable. It is imperative the driver can access and drop your order with ease so there is not a delay in delivering the orders after your drop. We kindly ask you to utilize our pickup location(Wednesdays only) if there is a chance the driver will have an issue with your delivery. Although you don’t have to be home to accept the delivery, it is imperative you refrigerate your meals no more than 8 hrs after you receive text confirmation that your food has been delivered. To ensure we always provide safe and fresh home delivery we utilize a custom insulated cooler bag/ice pack, drop and exchange system. We make our own ice packs in house and they are 100% reusable and extremely valuable to us, that being said please keep our thawed ice packs inside the cooler bag and leave outside the morning of your next delivery and we will exchange them when we deliver or arrange a pickup on any Wednesday by contacting us by Monday via email or text with your name, address, and number and we will schedule a pickup for you.
Since Delivery times will always vary for each delivery day depending on the locations and the number of deliveries for that day we will send an email the night before your delivery day with a 2 hour approx delivery time slot to expect your delivery. They will always range from 1:00pm-9:00pm, Sundays and or Wednesdays only. Our delivery software allows our drivers to send you a notification text when they are in route and again when they have delivered your food to your door. Sometimes there are unforeseen hang ups that drivers encounter but we will do our best to keep you informed. Generally we try not to deliver past 9pm each delivery day. If you have a special request for a delivery time we will try our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee it will be able to happen, please include your request in the delivery notes box at checkout. If for some reason the delivery cannot be made you will be responsible for picking up your meals from The Lean Machine the following day. Please ensure that you use a cell number in your account info page and billing info in order to receive delivery notification text messages when submitting your order so accurate communication if needed can be achieved. If you cannot receive texts please inform us by leaving a note in the delivery note box when ordering so that we are aware.

Our delivery route reaches from the 5, as far North as the 78 freeway and as far south as Imperial Beach. From the 15 it reaches as far north as the 78, The 805 south to Palm Ave. as well as the 125 south to Olympic Pkwy. As for East, the 8 east to Los Coches rd, and the 67 to Santee.
Local Pickup: Wednesdays Only

If you are selecting local pickup please be aware that you are required to pick up your food within the time slot provided on our website as well as the Pickup info PDF that is included in your order email(Wednesdays only), If there is a chance you cannot pick up your food within the pickup time window, please utilize our home delivery option instead. If you don’t pick up your food within the allotted time frame, we will no longer be held liable and your food will be disposed if you do not contact us prior to 6:30pm. The Location will not be housing your meals in a fridge, they will come in cooler bags with ice packs just like home delivery and need to be refrigerated by 10pm. The cooler bags will have a tag on the handle with your name on it.If you take the cooler home with you, please bring it back with the ice packs to the same location at any time during normal business hours. The Location is only contracted to allow our customers to pick up their cooler bags.
